Ordinary AHA 30% PHA 2% Pilling 30ml

Peeling solution with alpha hydroxy acids 30% + beta hydroxy acids 2%

Alpha hydroxy acids exfoliate the skin's upper surface for a brighter, more uniform appearance. Beta hydroxy acids also exfoliate the skin with extended efficacy to help decongest pores. Containing 30% alpha hydroxy acids and 2% beta hydroxy acids, this solution provides deeper exfoliation to help combat visible blemishes and to improve skin radiance. The formula also improves the appearance of skin texture and reduces the appearance of fine lines with continued use.

This formula contains a proven Tasmani pepper derivative to help reduce irritation associated with acid use. This derivative is of plant origin and varies in color seasonally and this color difference may be evident in the composition from time to time. This formula is also backed by a cross-polymer formula of hyaluronic acid for comfort, vitamin B5 to aid healing and black carrot as an antioxidant.

Note: This formula contains a very high concentration of free acids. We recommend using them only if you are an experienced acid peel user and your skin is insensitive.

Contraindications: This formula should not be used on sensitive, flaky or damaged skin. Please refer to the Additional Sun Protection Note and other warnings in the instructions provided.

The pH of this formula is about 3.6. Glycolic acid, the basic alpha-hydroxy acid used in the formula, has an acid dissociation constant of 3.6, which is the most important aspect to consider when forming acids, and the acid dissociation constant indicates the availability of acid, and when the acid dissociation constant approaches pH, there is an ideal balance between salt and acidity, which increases the effectiveness of the acid and reduces irritation. A high pH in such a case may lead to an excess of salt, making the composition more irritating than if the composition were more acidic.

Note: While exfoliating acids can bring quick visual benefits, we generally suggest indirect forms of skin peeling, compared to direct forms, such as this formula because of the potential for inflammation and sensitivity associated with acids.
